today we had our cny celebration-
it was really different from dunman high's celebration
everything was super informal
and there was like a fun atmosphere =D

they started off the concert
with a lion dance-
we were sitting in the front,
so we spent most of the time covering our ears
because the cymbals were damn loud-
but the "nian" was really cute!
according to siling HAHA

after that,
not to leave out the other races (according to them)
the indian cultural society put up two dances
the dances were not those traditional kinds-
they were damn hip and sexy! O.O
the females dancers were wearing really sexy clothes
and the dance involved really sexy moves haha

the male dancers were really flexible
and they were moonwalking all over the stage!
michael jackson style and they were really good =D
we all got a shock when we saw the dance
but it was really nice (:

then the malay dancers put up a dance too
it wasnt as nice as the indian one lol
and the dance cca put up a really hip dance
and they were really good too lol =D
surprisingly, there were no chinese dances lol

then we had the interhouse dressup competition
pegasus was the funniest-
all the houses were throwing chocolates to the audience
and five chocolate coins hit me la!
i bring good luck =D

o7v14 won an honourable mention
for the banner painting competition! =DDDDD
and we were the only ip class to get a prize!
the other classes who won were all jc classes =D
our banner's really nice-
jonathan drew a pig popping out of a dog costume
and sulin drew the words-
some others painted the banner really nicely
thanks you guys! =D

i decided not to go back to ynps
and went to meet cuiting and the rest at bugis
BUT i got a huge shock when
1. cuiting told me shes going to her friends house before coming
2. wanyu told me that shes coming only after lunch
3, when i called yi'an at 11, she's still stoning at home
RAH

but thank goodness leesimin came on time
so she kept me company =D
we met eli too!
she was waiting for her class gathering thing to start
and we walked around for like almost an hour
and the both of them filled me in on stuff happening in sj and the squad

when cuiting and yi'an finally arrived,
eli left to join her class
and we went to swensons to eat-
note:
NEVER, EVER IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE
go to BUGIS SWENSONS to eat
im serious

the service was really lousy
we sat there at a corner booth
and waited for 15 minutes before the waiter gave us menus
we waited for almost an hour for our food!
then when we went to foot the bill,
they charged us 5% GST plus 10% service charge
WTH
their service is so lousy and they still expect us to pay them for their service?
we even stood there at the counter and waited 15 minutes just to pay
so in the end,
all of us got cheated of three dollars
THREE DOLLARS-
i can do alot with it than pay for their lousy service
so moral of the story: NEVER go to bugis swenson
