happy early new year to all though im two hours earlier. anyway i'll just talk about what happened today-

went out with yvette, dawn and dexter to watch the long-awaited deathnote 2! (: i was like super happy la when dawn and dexter finally came so that we can go into the cinema. deathnote 2 was a lil disappointing, after watching the anime and reading the manga. it didnt stay true to the manga and instead came up with another ending and stuff- and after watching the real authentic anime and seeing how cute L and light are, the real people are a lil disappointing too. BUT i still loved the movie (: i'll definitely go get deathnote 1 & 2 when they come out (: i love deathnote! :DD

but i gotta admit; the producers of the movie managed to wrap the story up really nicely- those who haven't read the manga wouldn't know that it isn't the real ending! lol- i love deathnote; have i said that already? :D dexter and dawn were super funny la- yvette and i had a great time laughing at them :D secret!

okay, now to reflect on the past year-
2006 has been quite a good year, i mean with me getting into vj, getting good grades for my end of year and stuff. looking back, i can really see the hand of god working in my life. i mean, if it wasn't for him, would i have gotten into vj? would i have done well for my end of year? in the end, everything in our lives comes down to him and his divine plan. we just have to follow and trust in him, because HE wants the best for us.

all the celebrations like christmas, chinese new year and stuff were kinda lacking in the spirit- but maybe its just me? and this year has really been a rocky year for friendships. in school, in church. i faced problems, but thank GOD we managed to resolve them in time (:

2006 certainly hasn't been one of the best years and it'll be hard leaving everyone behind in dunman high and moving on, but there will be like new adventures and stuff in a new school- so i have to say: bring it on!

these past few days have been exhausting- i had orientation the past two days and two parties to attend- and i just went for a four hour maths tuition today, so its safe to say that i can drop dead from exhaustion any moment.

thursday 28/12/2006
reached vj pretty early, and orientation started at 9. we were introduced to our PSLs and we played class games like blow wind blow and got to know each other. there was one particular game we played, which was really funny. the class was split into two groups and each group has to send a representative to sit on each side of a curtain. when the curtain is brought down, the first one to say the opposite person's name wins, and the loser will go over to the winner's side. so the side with the least people loses. it was really funny because whenever the curtain comes down, there's silence because no one can remember each other's names! when i was sent up, the opposite person was moses so when i saw him i was like MOSES! he was a few seconds slower than me nya nya- siling was laughing herself silly at the back LOL.

we had some games involving stations and the first class who finishes will get the largest flag and so on. sadly, our class was last, and we got the smallest flag. and guess what? it was about 1.5 cm long HAHA- our class psl, rachel, was like: no worries! we got the smallest, cutest and SEXIEST flag- she even wanted to make up a cheer about our small, cute and sexy flag lol-

we had lunch and went for a talk with mr boyd in the lecture theatre. he was briefing us on the VIP programmeand it was quite long- we had another game after that, which was to build an aeroplane out of materials which we can "purchase" from PSLs. we had to do forfeits like singing "its raining men" with actions, run around an area shouting " we are monkeys", stick our hands into the coy pond for thirty seconds. the boys did more forfeits than us LOL two of them had to take off their shoes, hold hands and skip on a wet muddy patch of grass. it was damn funny and gay and the photographer was having a great time taking pictures of them. my group was quite sad because we kept heaping balloons onto the "aeroplane's" body and in the end we had the biggest aircraft and guess what? our balloons all popped and it didnt move at all. it was super funny but we had a great time building it la.

after that we had debrief and i went to edlyn's house for the farewell party for minli and selene. i was super tired and i didnt stay long for it- i went back before they cut the cake and gave their speeches.

friday 29/12/2006
second day of IPO! we had class games again before we had station games. the station games were alright- we were split up into groups again for them. for lunch, we were give one and a half hours for it and were allowed to go anywhere. we were supposed to go in our orientation groups too. our class decided to go together and we went to parkway's pastamania, but the queue was super long, and we were running short on time, so my OG went down to burger king for lunch. in the end, we reached vj earlier than the rest of the class! lol

we had wet games after that and it was much more fun than station games. but poor me! my first station was tug-of-war and i got rope burns, really bad ones because i was pulled along with the rope and it slipped through my fingers, and brilliant me stubbornly hung one and thus, i got 10 blisters on my hands. brilliant huh- but its damn pain can, my hands were like on fire for the rest of the day and i can see the blisters swelling and appearing.

we went to change and collect our books after the games and whoa, the books are damn haeavy man! i ordered almost everything and i could hardly lift the whole stack of books la. by the time i struggled down to my dad's car, my hands were going to give way already. siling, shuyi and amanda were even worse la- they ordered all! so in the end siling just dragged the bag of books all the way LOL

daddy fetched me, yijun and yingsi to cuiting's house for the party- it was kind of a flop- like less than half the classturned up and there wasnt enough food. so me jiahui, yi'an and fiona walked down to downtown east for dinner. but it was good catching up with the few people who were there- i left at about 9 plus because i was really really exhausted and when i reached home, i just went to sleep after my bath.

well, IPO is over! it was a lot better than i expected it to be- honestly. i expected it to be really akward and stuff but thankfully, it was quite easy to fit into the class and the psls were great in like charging the class up- next week's jc orientation is going to be much more fun i bet!

we had squad outing today! (: actually i was supposed to go for tuition, but this TEO YI'AN dragged me to the outing and in the end- we have four hours of maths tuition this saturday. good going yi'an -.-

but it was good (: we had the picnic at pasir ris park and it was great catching up with the squad; i forgot how fun it was to be with the squad! (: we ate and spent the time walking around and talking- they were filling me in on jnco. at first i thought it was going to be damn akward, because i didnt go for jnco and they'll probably be like: oh remember we did this in jnco blah blah. but thankfully, whenever they talked about jnco they filled me in on what happened and it wasnt as akward as i expected it to be! thanks guys (:

oh ya- tzuhsiang, you havent finished telling me about you-know-what! the one which we were interrupted. and your fma card is so evil! you drew envy so ugly ROAR

we went to play at the playground and practically the whole squad sat on the turning circle thing and the whole park could hear us screaming! haha. i left early with yi'an and wanyu and we went to white sands. tzuhsiang and leesimin joined us at comics connection! i finally found my partner- tzuhsiang! she can spend the whole day in comics connection like me and hear me ramble on about anime! HAHA the next time i go to comics connection, i'll go with you /th! :D

yi'an and i went to bedok library to borrow books before having dinner at mcdonalds. the guy who served me was really funny la. first, he looks like those kind of blur blur person. then when he was getting my food, he got my nuggets and fries, but he left my drink there and went out to deliver food to other patrons. i was like O.O where's my drink! lol and the lady at the next station saw me and she quickly gave me my drink and apologised LOL.

tomorrow's orientation! i dont feel like going BLEH. its going to be damn akward la- with a new class and stuff sheesh- someone, spare me?

merry christmas everyone! though it doesn't feel like christmas at all-this year is lacking in the christmas spirit and stuff. last year was more meaningful to me and stuff. you know, recently i've been going like- oh last year's (e.g.juniorvbc) was better and stuff. i've been looking back on the past far too often than i should :/ maybe i should stop comparing now to the past-

anyway ever since i came back from shanghai i've been on a really hectic schedule! my eyes are like drooping shut now and i'm totally exhausted-

24th december- christmas eve!
woke up really early and went to church. we brought the presents along, but not many people were there, so i brought home a full bag again -.- after that we went to aunt siewhong's house for tea- because we've always been going to their house for a christmas eve dinner, but because this year we have our aunt's christmas party, so we went for tea instead.

my aunt's christmas party at night was okay- we started off with a presentation on our family and there were lots of pictures of all my relatives and me from young till now; really meaningful!
after that a friend of my aunt shared about the difference between christianity and like chinese history or something like that- it was quite interesting, an eye-opener (: we had dinner after that and we didnt do much before going home.

25th december- christmas day!
woke up early again. we hung around in church since like 8.30 and went to eat strudels! we went for 10.30 service instead and the dance item was good (: we were also like exchanging presents and stuff. right after i got home, we left for aunt grace's house. we were the first there though we were late! so the others are later than us HAHA. slowly they started coming in and aunt irene showed us a presentation of the pictures they took on their trip to korea. korea is really nice! i can't wait to go there next year :D

we stayed there till 7 and we just reached home. im going to open my presents later! ((: thankyou to everyone who gave me something, msged me or wished me merry christmas! loves! <3

i'll probably blog about my trip tomorrow because tomorrow is my only free day! haha (:

and in a blink of an eye, another christmas has come and gone again.

IM HOME!!! :D china was fun, but being home is great too haha! (: im too lazy to post about my trip so i won't do it today (: church was nothing much today- very few people came! so i'll probably be giving out all the presents tomorrow. the best part of the trip was climbing huangshan! its the tallest mountain in china, so bravo for me! :DD heh-

its christmas eve today! but it doesn't feel like it; the atmosphere is not there! anyway thanks to those who msged me and wished me happy birthday even though im all the way in china! (: my birthday was nothing much- didnt even feel like a birthday! but its an experience-i guess

we're going aunt siew hong's house for tea before going to my uncle's house for a christmas eve party! actually after 8 days of not using com, when i first booted up my computer, i felt really wierd sitting in front of the computer and using the mouse and stuff! lol and its only 8 days! haha-

its today!! :DDDD but it doesn't feel like im flying off today lol (: everything's packed and i've been spending the past few days putting songs and pictures into my mp3-whoa that isn't an easy task alright! everytime after i finish im mentally exhausted! phew and im going out for lunch with yi'an's group later because they're at bedok reservoir now training!
quick recap of the past week-

monday
had physics tuition and went out with cuiting after that for lunch at parkway- we agreed on one thing: parkway's getting boring, and to think that this might be my favourite haunt next year! anyway she scared me about some stuff about china but im not going to be scared by her! hmph! anyway cuiting- my brother's friend said that the tour was very nice so who do i believe now? :s

tuesday
went out for lunch with yi'an- poor girl! because monday they had a really tough training, she couldn't climb up or down stairs- she literally crabwalked whenever it came to stairs! but i was really bad too- i climbed up to the top of the stairs and cheered her on! LOL i know! im evil! anyway she spent the whole time complaining to me about training and jnco and stuff- so i guess we're even! lol we had amaths with mrs ng after that and thankfully i could follow this time- i wasn't as lost as last week!

wednesday
my only free day!! i just lazed around the house for the whole day watching my girl before going for tour briefing at night- not much point going because the briefing wasnt really interesting but ah whatever. the tour doesnt sound that interesting- but im excited because of the plane ride where i can watch tons of movies! ( maybe they may even have deathnote there! pretty please??) and the shopping in shanghai! but we only have one full day to shop in shanghai and just nice that day is my birthday! so we'll eat at a nice restaurant to celebrate :DDD

thursday
went out with wanyu this time! because i needed to pass her my bandage- she needed it for jnco. we just ate at interchange and walked around. the best thing was- i got my humongous lee joon ki calender and a deck of poker cards! :DDDDD haha i convinced my brother to buy it for me as a christmas present (((: then i struggled to tuition after that and it was raining, and my umbrella spoilt- so there i was struggling in the rain, with this huge rolled up calender in a bag which is getting wet, my spoilt umbrella and my tuition bag- pretty cool huh.

anyway i actually limited myself to two episodes per day of my girl! so sad right ): because on sunday, i calculated and i decided if i watch two episodes per day, i'll finish the show just before i go! (:

so by right i should finish the show today right? WRONG- i been so busy packing and handling my mp3 that i havent watched 13-16 yet! and melvin came over with some more anime for me to watch! so i'll finish the show when i come back on christmas eve and chrismas day!! :DDD

phew i've been swamped with tuition this past few days; thursday i had maths and friday i had physics. and tomorrow i have physics and maths on tuesday sigh- once again i lament what a sad life i lead.

but the one thing that cheers me up is that just in 5 days time- im going to shanghai! :DDD i've been wrapping presents like mad! hmph its all yvette's fault- dumping everything on me! nah but im a really broke person now, after shopping for all the presents ):

i've been watching what i like about you starring amanda bynes on youtube! (: it's really funny and i bet my family can hear me laughing in the middle of the night -.- go watch it! and i've started watching my girl too! yup i finally mustered up the courage to tear off the plastic wrapping of my most precious drama vcd and started watching! (:

actually i wanted to save till my birthday then to watch- but i'll be in shanghai! and calculating christmas and the orientation and stuff- i'll have absolutely no time to watch! so yup im watching now and i must say its every bit as good as i expected it to be! im only on episode 6 but it's got me hooked! haha- im biding my time so that i'll finish it just nice before i leave.

and lee joon ki is every bit as hot as i expect him to be! *swoons* its just so sad that he's not the lead male- he's definitely better looking! but he's more suited to the role as a playboy la- he definitely has the looks and the charisma to pull it off! :DDDD

i went out with aunt carolyn today! (: we went to TM first and she helped me alot in something that i was doing heheh (: its a secret! and we went to billy bombers for lunch- its an american diner. the portions there are so huge that my chicken main course had two thighs and one drumstick. huge ones- but they're super delicious. the skin is fried to a crisp and the meat is tender i loved it! (: the potato salad is not bad too but too much for me to stomach. the most interesting thing was my ice lemon tea- it came in like practically a jug! like those lemonade jugs except that its supposed to be my cup lol- damn my dad's bluetooth is down again so i can't show the photo here- its in my phone!

then we rushed to marina square to watch happy feet! its really nice (: mumble, ramon and gloria are damn cute :D i like baby gloria and mumble- they're so adorable! makes me wanna go up there and squeeze the life out of them heh (: we window shopped after that and i watched aunt carolyn try on lots of clothes before coming back home (: i got maths tuition tmr and physics tuition on fri ))): what a sad life i lead *sighs*

oh yay and one of the books we're reading for the bridging curriculum thing, his dark materials- the golden compass, is coming out next year! :DDD yay i can't wait to watch it- the book's quite nice, you should go read it! its in a trilogy. anyway now im going to do some more book reviews- what an even sadder life ):

went out with yvette today after church to do christmas shopping! (: and now im resting at home and putting my poor aching feet up after walking the whole of bugis- we had lunch at bugis food junction and the food there is horrible expensive. my lunch cost $5!- one plate of carrot cake ($3.50) and one can of ice lemon tea ($1.50) so expensive ):

then we went out to those lil push carts outside and shopped- i got two pairs of earrings for myself (: and we got a few presents from there before going into the shopping mall and getting some more presents! we didn't manage to complete it so we're meeting up again this week to finish it before she leaves for japan- im pennyless now! ): gotta do more chores to earn money! will anyone be kind enough to donate some money to me? PLEASE?

going to finish watching full house later (: i watched till the second last episode before i had to go for camp and i was left on a cliffhanger- but it wasnt really one because he asked her to marry him and of course we all know that she'll say yes. and im going to start on my girl soon! (: so i can ogle at lee joon ki HAHA X)

daddy and mummy are also doing full time christmas shopping! but they're really fast compared to me- they've almost finished it and they've wrapped like almost all the presents already! whoa- and i just finished making a list of who i have to buy for and the prices and stuff oops- heh
im so excited for my shanghai trip! (: we're going to huangshan, nanjing and shanghai- from what i remember (: but i gotta finish my book reviewS first ):

im back from camp again! (: this time its juniorvbc- junior vacation bible camp (:
thursday-30th december
first day! lugged my overnight bag to church and met auntie jaq in DAN- after that we went down to receive the campers. they're so cute! (: we had worship and lesson followed by crafts. i was given a table of my own! so i was helping three kids- reina kobayashi (she's japanese!), carmen and theophilus-he's my favourite! (: i was a but blur and stuff because last year i wasn't alone in teaching the craft but i adapted pretty fast i guess. the kids are so adorable during worship! really praise god- we can see his love and his goodness even through such young kids and they're so enthusiastic to praise the lord (: and we had the salvation lesson and praise god! my whole group received JESUS into their heart, even the prebelievers and the believers too for reconfirmation! (:

the highlight of the day was games! i think the helpers like us are more excited than the kids! but they're so horribly cute :D and my group-patience came in first with gentleness!(: see i got a great group :D after they went back we had camp briefing and all of us were really tired out. last year we weren't that tired but this year we were dead on our feet phew! and the worst thing was edlyn, cheryl and i weren't feeling well at all- i had a terrible pounding headache, cheryl lost her voice and edlyn had the flu. but after a visit to uncle kevin and some penadol, i was feeling much better (: edlyn went home and didn't stay but cheryl and i did and we roomed in peter- we konked out at 10

friday-1st december
woke up at 8! (: i heard the senior vbc campers complaining that we could sleep in and they couldn't LOL because our camp started at 8.30, theirs started at 7 i think :D anyway it was the same today but the children warmed up to each other and started to be more enthusiastic and stuff (: oh the best thing today was the combined worship- i think both camps really had fun during the worship and i had fun too! (: and i learned the senior camp theme song and its so fun! :D

we had games again and my group emerged champion! :DDD of course its because they have me to help them la HEE nah they really deserve it they played their hearts out and i can see that they really enjoyed themselves (: the concert prep was fun too- this really cute boy in my group, samuel was really funny to watch because his reaction is like delayed and when he realises that he has to raise the props, he raises it like lightening fast! (:

the senior camp's parents night was that night and we rushed to bathe and stuff. yvette came! (: but she came to watch us bathe and eat :D OH and edlyn was taking care of this really cute boy dashielle! ((: and her friend came- nicholas the worship was fun and the cheers by the g roup and the song items were great (: OH another interesting thing- the senior camp's speaker was pastor nicholas chu- he looks and talkes EXACTLY like jack neo!! HAHA (:

then we had supper and i was greedy and took two plates of beehoon oops-heh and cheryl, me edlyn and lingnah sat down and we had tons of fun we were laughing and laughing so much and we were crapping all the way (: we even had to be shushed OOPS- and when ling nah had to hail a cab home, edlyn, cheryl and me stood across the road and danced for her- and guess what! she hailed a limo cab! we're so effective right?! (:

after that we didnt do much just went up and down and drew on edlyn's tables before we went to sleep at 1am (:

saturday-2nd december
last day of camp! ): brought the children up for worship and aunt sabrina lost her voice! but thankfully aunt le-anne was back and she led worship (: we had the last lesson followed by craft and lunch in the classroom-mchicken burgers YUM! (: OH we couldnt go downstairs for lunch because there's a wedding going on and the funny thing is- its uncle luke and aunt faith's wedding! they'repart of our caregroup (: mummy and daddy were invited but i wasn't hmph! nah even if i was i wouldn't be able to go anyway lol

i took pictures with almost everyone in the group! but they're in my handphone and my dad's laptop bluetooth is down so i can't upload the pictures ): but they're so cute! i miss them terribly ): then we had concert prep and the kids did wonderfully (: then during tea the kids took turns jumping onto my lap lol- next concert time! the kids were absolutely wonderful :D i videoed the whole thing but its in edlyn's cam- i videoed her doing her funky dance too! ((: we didn't have much time with the children after the concert and all too soon they were all gone withtheir parents- it seemed so unreal! one minute they're jumping all over the class and the next minute they're all gone ): but i enjoyed this camp really (: and i know the fruits of the spirit now!

but the fuit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law
