GO ICARUS~i-robot
day 4- 19th december '06
we woke up at 6 to catch the sunrise at 6.55am- but we weren't at a high enough vantage point, so we could only see the horizon changing and didnt actually see the sun rise, which was a pity. we trekked down for about half an hour to one hour to a different cable car.
this cable car is really big and can hold up to 80 people at one go :D the bus picked us up and the family of 8 and we made our way to nanjing. the ride was really long too but we reached there pretty fast- around 4. we went to shop and lao fuo miao! its a shopping street and you really can shop till you drop there :D the best part was when we bought dvds!
i got my flydaddy starring lee joon ki! <3 and i got love in harvard, save the last dance for me and the entire prince of tennis season+ova! :DDDDDD the POT only cost me around 5 sing dollars while if we buy in singapore, one season is 70 bucks. and the love in harvard and save the last dance for me cost me only around 3 sing dollars :DDDD i was a really happy girl after that alright! (:
day 5- 20th deccember 'o6that day was a horrible day because it was really cold in the morning. we went to the great yangtze river and saw the bridge that the chinese built with their bare hands when everyone thought they couldn't. it was really misty and we couldn't see a thing, which wasnt very good.
the most horrible thing was when we were informed that the nanjing massacre masoleum was closed due to renovations, so we couldn't go. i almost cried la. it was the part which i was looking forward to the most and they turn their back and say oh its closed, sorry we cant go. HMPH. i was super pissed can.
we travelled to wuxi after that and went to yuan tou zhu to take lots of pictures. the teapot exhibition after that was really good because the teapots are really authentic and very well done. i at least enjoyed myself there (:

with the master painter of the teapot- its really nice and he's really good

i'll finish my trip tomorrow! and tomorrow is day 2 of orientation go! :D
