that's the inside of the train, but the seats arent that comfortable. we travelled to hangzhou after that by bus and i finally got my beauty sleep- so i was feeling much better! :D after lunch we went to xi hu's huagang yuan. its a flower garden and its really nice because its next to the lake. 
we went to watch this world famous show after that- the romance of the song dynasty. it was really, really good. it surpassed my expectations! i was expecting an opera kinda show, but it isnt. its mainly dance and acrobatics and they feature stories like mdm white snake, liang shan bo and zhu ying tai. the special effects are brilliant too. the stage and seats split apart to make way for a waterfall, there was really good laser shows and stuff. they even rode real horses on the stage!
we only took one photo because after awhile, we gave up and just enjoyed the show :D
day 2- 17th december 'o6
we went to xi hu for a lake cruise in the morning and walked through a park. the lake cruise was nice and the weather was cold. the lake is only 2m deep, but nobody swims in it because below is mud and once you step in, you get stuck there. 
we visited meijiawu after that- its a place where they produce long jing cha and its apparently very famous because some show called cha shi hu xiang shi was filmed there?
we made a 5hour trip down to huangshan later and stayed at this city at the foot of huangshan called tunxi. it was getting cold there because we're in the mountain ranges already.
alright i dont want to make the post too long with too many pictures so i'll split it. i'll blog about huangshan later tonight and finish the trip over the next few days (:
